Clementina I. Long – Woonsocket

Clementina (Mitzie) I. Long 85, of Second Ave., died Sept. 5, 2017, at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard Curtis. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Amelia (Sabatini) Malito.

Mitzie worked as a waitress for most of her life in several area restaurants. She loved cooking and baking and was famous for her delicious Italian cookies.

Besides her husband she leaves a son, Robert Long of N.C.; three daughters, Karen Tougas of Lincoln, Kathy Martin of Pascoag, and Vallerie Curtis of Woonsocket; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Joseph Long and eight siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, September 11, at 10 a.m., in Sacred Heart Church, Olo St., Woonsocket.
